Things to Know Before You Book
For the Safety & Comfort of All Guests & Staff
Vaccination Requirements
Dog guests are required to have current vaccines:
- Rabies Vaccine
- Distemper Vaccine (DHLPP) including leptospirosis vaccine
- Bordetella Vaccine
- Fecal exam every 6 months (updated)
Cat guests are required to have current:
- Rabies Vaccine
- Distemper Vaccine (FVRCP)
All pet guests are required to be free from external parasites (such as fleas and ticks.) All pet guests are required to have a negative fecal test for Giardia every 6 months
Check-In and Check-Out
Board
- Check-in time: Anytime between business hours
- Check-out time: 12 pm otherwise Daycare Surcharge is applied
- Please allow 15 minutes to properly check in at our reception desk.
- Pets not picked up prior to our lobby closing time will be considered overnight guests and be charged an additional night’s stay.
- We are closed to the public on these holidays for check-in and check-out but do accept boards the day before Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July
Daycare
- We offer Small & Large Dog Indoor Daycare EVERY DAY of the week.
- We are closed on holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).
- Drop off anytime lobby is open
- M-F 7am-7pm Sat-Sun 9am-5pm
- All Daycare must be checked out by closing otherwise they will be considered an overnight guest & be charged accordingly.
- For Half Day Daycare, pets can come as soon as our lobby is open. Half Day pets can stay for four hours after check-in. Pets that stay after four hours will be considered full Day and be charged accordingly.

Cancellation Policy & Deposits
- Please give us 48 hour notice or 50% groom fee forfeiture. Less than 24 hours or a no show, will be a full groom fee, and all future appointments will require deposits moving forward.
- Holiday boarding: All overnight reservations for holidays require a 50% deposit of the reservation total fee to book. Reservations must be cancelled at least 1 week prior to arrival date. Failure to cancel will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Pup’s Personal Belongings
No personal belongings are permitted. We provide bedding & toys for them to sleep & play with throughout their stay.

Leashes/Leash Reactivity
All pets entering or exiting our facility must be on a leash or harness and leash or harness are taken back with owner.
Nosh & Chow:
To ensure proper portion control, all meals must be pre-packaged and divided into individual serving sizes. Whole food bags will not be accepted. For hygiene reasons, we do not permit the use of home brought cups, bowls, or spoons on the premises.”*A meal surcharge will be added if meals are not provided in individual portioned packages.
Medication:
We gladly administer medication with surcharge of $2 per oral, $4 per injectable administration

Visitations and Tours
All pets entering or exiting our facility must be on a leash or harness and leash or harness are taken back with owner.
Visitations
For the comfort and stress-free stay of your pet with us, visitations during daycare or board are not permitted. We understand the desire to check in on your furry companion, and are happy to provide updates via phone or text.
Tours
Sunday tours by appointment only
In the interest of providing rest and rejuvenation for our furry clients, we respectfully request that our policy be honored. Unscheduled visitors can interfere with the tranquil environment and peaceful experience we have strived to create. Our goal is to offer exclusive services that meet the needs of our valued clients.
New Clients
New clients will need to fill out the Owner Profile Pet Profile, Uptown Paw Agreement

Unaltered Pets
Surcharge $10/day (board & daycare)
Unaltered dogs can exhibit behaviors that make them more challenging to care for in a group setting such as daycare. They may mount other dogs, become more territorial, and their urine contains a stronger pheromonal scent. Additionally, unaltered dogs tend to urinate more frequently, which requires more frequent cleaning. To ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs in our care, unaltered dogs may need to be separated to their suite, which requires more resources and additional work for our staff. This is why many other dog hotels in the area do not accept unaltered dogs, and we have a surcharge in place to accommodate the increased cost and effort required to care for them.

Temperament Tests
All dogs must complete a free temperament test prior to utilizing daycare or boarding. We host these by appointment. Dogs will stay with us for 1 hour. We respectfully ask that you not be present, as it will affect the test, and risk the safety of our pet guests staying with us. All dogs must have all vaccines up to date prior to the temperament test.
